Flappy Bird will make its long-awaited return to the App Store in August. The game’s creator, Dong Nguyen, has reportedly revealed a few more details about what the game will look like.
The new Flappy Bird will have multiplayer-capabilities and will be less addictive, according to CNBC’s Eli Langer. It’s not yet clear what the gameplay will be like or how different it will be from the original but fans won’t have to wait long to find out.

The developer pulled the app in February, after his game soared to the top of the charts in iTunes and Google Play, following a series of upset tweets and rage-fueled YouTube videos from frustrated users. Some took it as far as harassing or even threatening Nguyen over Twitter for making his game so difficult yet so addictive. Read more…
